Commando March (4th April 2009)
The opportunity to march where the original Rangers marched and follow in their footsteps.
East Fortune (2nd & 3rd 2009)
East Fortune was a WW2 airfield and is now a museum of flight with a Concorde! Its approx 27miles South of Edinburgh, with WWII static display and a vehicle convoy, this will be our second year at this event and is really worth the trip!
65th Anniversary of D Day, Normandy France (3rd - 10th June 2009)
In remeberance of the Allied D Day campaign Normandy 44 will be joining other re-enactors and veterans in Normandy France for the week around this years 65th Anniversary celebration.
Beltring War & Peace (22nd - 26th July 2009)
The largest Military show in the world, vehicles, reenacting diorama’s, stalls and much more.
Victory Show (5th-6th Sept 2009)
This year’s show commemorates the end of hostilities during WW2. This is a two day event is held over a 60 acre site, providing historical societies & re-enactments through various forces from several era's and theatres during the period of 1939-45. From Airmen to Infantry, the Victory Show opens a window in time to the fabulous 1940's.
Pickering War Time Weekend (16th-18th Oct 2009)
Turning the clock back to 1943 with NYMR Wartime Weekend, this is one of our longest standing events and a fantastic way of ending the season.
10th Anniversary Celebration & End of Season Dance(TBC)
Rather than our regular end of season 40’s Dance this year we will be combining this with our 10th Anniversary celebrations, we will be confirming details and ticket availability as soon as everything has been finalised.
